One week down, forever to go

We couldn't have been blessed with amore beautiful day for a wedding! I looked at my best women "Deb" and stated that I was amazed at how emotional an experience this was. She commented as well that it just seemed to be so personal having all the family together up on a hillside.

Of course my family still had to show their true colors!

All in all it was a great time.

We love ya, Suzie (and you too, Brian)! One of the very best weddings I've ever been to!
I commented to Larry last night that my mind's eye is still full of all the scenes from the whole time we spent together as a family. They just keep replaying in my head, like watching a video over and over, and smiling with delight everytime I watch it!

P.S. I just noticed the changes you've made in your blog title and in the "About Me" info.
Just delightful! I'm so happy to now be "Auntie Jeannie" to Brian and Mikala (as well as to you and Thomas).

Sue,

Congratulations.

I so wish I could have been there. It looks like it was just an amazing, wonderful, beautiful event.

But with Andy's broken leg and surgery back in January, he got so behind on his furniture work that there was just no way we could afford to make the trip. By the time someone came up with the idea of just me catching a ride with someone else to save expenses, we had already agreed to house guests arriving that weekend. I would have had to leave the day after the wedding (leaving my guests to feed themselves for two days out of their four day visit), and no one was planning to leave that quickly afterward. I just couldn't make it work.

Please don't be mad at us forever. A little while, maybe, but not forever.

Congratulations to you and Brian. If the wedding says anything about the life you will share together, then it will be a beautiful union.

I love you both.

Well, actually, I've never met your dear husband, but I'm sure I love him, too.
